just think about it. object pronouns conjure up different feelings and memories for every person-- and even the same person at different points in their life.
if you use a proper noun, then the emotions you are going to evoke are limited. say you titled your work "John." the viewer/reader is either going to think of the John most prevalent in their mind, or perhaps even detach themselves for the name because they don't know the artist's John. but if you title it "Him," the viewer is so much more involved. Who is "him," in their mind? Does it make a lovesick girl think about her crush, a son about his father who walked out, a boy about his best friend that he's fighting with? Object pronouns are personal and each person's response to them is going to be unique-- relative to what they are going through in their life.
